Trump, Scotland and golf

President Donald Trump confirmed that a Secret Service agent tried to sneak his wife on board a support plane accompanying him to his trip to Scotland. The story, first reported by the Herald newspaper of Glasgow, was confirmed by Trump on Air Force One during his trip back to Washington, D.C.
The Scots are generally not fans of Mr. Trump, and protests were already planned for Saturday. A group called “Stop Trump Scotland” said it was organizing a “festival of resistance” against Mr. Trump during the trip and has called on John Swinney, the first minister of Scotland, to cancel plans to meet with him.
As the president and his team promote one of his for-profit enterprises, ethical lines have been blurred to a point they practically no longer exist.
Locals in Scotland, long annoyed by Trump’s golf courses, expressed their outrage as the president visited for the weekend.
