Tuesday night in Nashville, Emmylou Harris invited famed Beatles drummer Ringo Starr to make his Grand Ole Opry debut in February.
Legendary rocker turned country gets Grand Ole Opry invite
Per Taste of Country, the former Beatles drummer, who recently released his country album “Look Up” — will headline a show at the Ryman. He was surprised on stage with the invite by Grand Ole Opry member Emmylou Harris. “When is that, July?” Starr said. “I’d love to. It’s an honor and a pleasure. Thank you.”
