A winter storm is moving out of the San Diego area Friday but brought much-needed rainfall and gusty winds that led to some flooding and downed trees.

Over 2,500 San Diego Gas & Electric customers were reported to be without power Friday afternoon due to outages.

The peak of the latest storm passed through San Diego County Thursday night, bringing a period of heavy rainfall that caused flooding in some parts of the region.
