A federal judge has blocked the Trump Administration's policy preventing Medicaid funding from going to abortion providers such as Planned Parenthood.

A federal judge on Monday ruled Planned Parenthood clinics nationwide must continue to be reimbursed for Medicaid funding as the nation’s largest abortion provider fights President Donald Trump’s administration over efforts to defund the organization in his signature tax legislation.

District Judge Indira Talwani issued a preliminary injunction, saying Trump's tax and spending law targeted Planned Parenthood's health centers.
