An inside look at Jimmy Butler’s last days in Miami before the team and player finally pushed each other away for good.

Butler's second suspension with the Heat came from the miscommunication of the travel policy as the 35-year-old missed a team flight to Milwaukee on Jan. 22. However, The Athletic would write both sides have told “different tales” in terms of that incident.

The Heat dealt the disgruntled Butler to the Golden State Warriors as part of a three-team trade on Wednesday night on the eve of Thursday’s NBA trade deadline, ESPN reported. The Heat also traded Josh Richardson to the Detroit Pistons as part of the deal.
