A second person has been charged in connection to a southern Indiana deputy being shot earlier this month. James Adams, 37, was in jail on unrelated charges when police determined he was connected to the shooting.
Adams, who was already incarcerated at the Scott County Jail on unrelated charges, has now also been charged with assisting a criminal and false informing. He's the second person arrested for allegedly helping Schepers.
