A rapidly growing fire near the Grand Canyon has expanded more than ten times in size over the last 24 hours.

Fast-spreading wildfires have forced the evacuation of part of the Grand Canyon, with the U.S. National Park Service saying at least 500 people had been guided out of the danger zone.

Severe storms are moving through the Midwest as the White Sage Fire near the Grand Canyon burns to more then 10,000 acres.
