Authorities in New York City are expected to announce the indictment of 10 alleged members and associates of the Tren de Aragua gang.

How many people arrested Sunday were connected to the TdA gang is unclear, but DEA officials said the number was in the dozens.

The news comes after police last month detained 16 suspected Tren de Aragua gang members after a couple was violently kidnapped from the apartment complex.
