FOX 9's Ian Leonard is tracking a tornado on the ground in the Brainerd Lakes area affecting East Gull Lake, Nisswa and surrounding communities.

Prayers are pouring in after an 'urgent' tornado warning was issued on Sunday evening. A serious tornado warning was issued for the state of Montana on Sunday evening. The major tornado was reportedly spotted,

A tornado touched down briefly about five miles north of North Mankato around 7 p.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

On Monday at 5:14 p.m. the National Weather Service released a tornado warning in effect until 6:15 p.m. for Erie County.

Another round of summer storms moved into Colorado on Friday afternoon, bringing the chance of scattered hail, strong wind gusts and frequent lightning.

Update: The current severe thunderstorm warning for Southwest Pa. will be expiring at 2:45 p.m. Jun. 6, 2025, 2:48 p.m.

Residents in parts of Oklahoma warned to take cover immediately, with dangerous tornadoes forecast: live tracker maps.

The alert advised those in the San Antonio-area city to "TAKE COVER NOW" and "find shelter now" just after midnight on Thursday, June 12. That same alert was also issued for multiple cities in the area, including Helotes, Hill Country Village and Castle Hills.

The warning had been issued for Camden and Currituck counties.
