The Texas Department of Safety has arrested a man in connection with a “credible threat toward state legislators” attending Saturday's protest.
Robert Bowers, 45, was arrested for threatening Texas lawmakers and possessing a firearm; no bail set. He's linked to the "No Kings" Austin protest. The Capitol was evacuated but resumed after DPS secured the area.
