One of the more surprising transfer portal entrants this offseason, Alabama Crimson Tide inside linebacker Justin Okoronkwo has now officially made his playing decision for the 2025 season, committing to the South Carolina Gamecocks on Friday morning.

On Friday morning, Alabama transfer linebacker Justin Okoronkwo announced a commitment to South Carolina, joining Florida State linebacker Shawn Murphy as the second transfer linebacker to commit to the Gamecocks this offseason. A native of Munich, Germany, Okoronkwo signed with Alabama as a three-star prospect in December 2023.

Linebacker Jeremiah Alexander came to Alabama with a ton of potential. He was considered a five-star recruit, ranked as the No. 1 EDGE in the 2022 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite.
