Blake Shelton will host 100th anniversary Grand Ole Opry special March 19, with performances by Carrie Underwood, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson and more

The Grand Ole Opry hits the century mark this year, and NBC is celebrating by bringing the radio fixture to TV screens nationwide. An all-star concert special called Opry 100: A Live Celebration is coming to NBC and Peacock on March 19 from 8-11 p.m. ET.

On March 19, NBC will air “Opry 100: A Live Celebration” in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Grand Ole Opry. Blake Shelton will host the special live from the iconic country music venue.

Stars are filing up to celebrate the Grand Ole Opry’s 100th birthday in style: With a three-hour-long TV special tribute. The hallowed country music stage has announced a special called Opry 100: A Live Celebration,

The three-hour show will take place over two locations: The Grand Ole Opry House, which has been the Opry’s home since 1974; and the Ryman Auditorium, the original home of the Opry’s shows, and which still hosts some winter performances today.

Vince Gill, Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire and Carrie Underwood will perform along with Shelton during the NBC-televised special.

Tuesday night in Nashville, Emmylou Harris invited famed Beatles drummer Ringo Starr to make his Grand Ole Opry debut in February.
