IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - The Iowa Arts Festival has announced its Main Stage lineup for this year’s event. The Iowa Arts Festival is an annual event that takes place in downtown Iowa City.

According to the Iowa Department of Education, which is hosting the contest, a committee representing art teachers from across the state has picked 16 semifinalists from over 100 qualifying designs.

The Iowa Department of Transportation will be closing a series of roads and ramps near the Hickman Road and Interstates 80/35 interchange for nighttime construction in the coming weeks.
