While crews continue to battle the wildfires out west, several organizations are gathering much needed supplies to assist those in need in southern California. FOX 5 NY's Meredith Gorman has more on the relief efforts and the organizations pitching to help.

The Salvation Army is out helping evacuees and emergency responders throughout the Southern California wildfires. Col. James Betts, the national chief secretary for the Salvation Army, joins FOX Weather to talk about the organization's efforts.
