The players have done their part, but a large portion of the credit goes to Martin St-Louis. The head coach of the Canadiens sold a plan to his guys, and they bought into the project with him.

DETROIT (AP) — Cam Talbot stopped 28 shots for his second shutout of the season as the Detroit Red Wings beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 2-0 on Saturday night. Marco Kasper redirected J.T. Compher’s shot at 9:55 of the second period, and Michael Rasmussen scored an empty-netter in the final minute to clinch Detroit’s victory.

It was a cloudy day from Mobile, as the final day of practices from the 2025 Senior Bowl got underway. The teams were in shells (shoulder pads and shorts) for the day and were basically doing walkthroughs for the first portion of the practice. It picked up considerably as practice ended, and special teams became a priority.

The last time we talked about Martin St-Louis’s children was in 2024 when his youngest (Mason) had an accident that caused the head coach of the Canadiens to return home for a few games.

Winter is in full swing, and along with the cold weather and snow flurries, there are also plenty of concerts taking over St. Louis in February.
