The Philadelphia 76ers received some more tough news on Friday when they found out Joel Embiid will miss the entirety of the upcoming 3-game road trip which begins Saturday against the Indiana Pacers before facing the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday and concluding with the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday.

PHILADELPHIA -- As the Philadelphia 76ers now move forward with their season, one has to wonder about what comes next for Joel Embiid. The big fella has not played since Jan. 5 due to a left foot sprain that he suffered before a Christmas Day win over the Boston Celtics.

The news arrived after Embiid missed the previous six games because of a sprained left foot. The seven-time All-Star has only played 13 games this season because of the sprained foot, knee swelling, left knee management, a right sinus fracture, and a three-game suspension.
