MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WTVY) - The Governor’s Office began accepting internship applications this week, Governor Kay Ivey announced on Friday. The nine-week program offers college students an opportunity to gain experience in state government.
Ivey, 80, will be the same age when her term ends in 2027 as President Joe Biden is as he finishes his time in the White House. Biden at 82 is the oldest serving president in American history.
