The Green Bay Packers have been using former offensive coordinator Luke Getsy in an advisor role for the team’s defense, similar to how coach Matt LaFleur has used veteran defensive coach Robert Saleh to help the offense.

Packers quarterbacks coach Tom Clements, who served under two head coaches and tutored Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers and Jordan Love, has retired.

Clements came out of retirement to coach the Packers in 2022, Aaron Rodgers' final season in Green Bay. The assumption was that once Rodgers was out of Green Bay, Clements would go back into retirement.

The prodigal coach returns! Luke Getsy, former Bears OC, is working with the rival Packers (again) ahead of their Week 18 matchup.

Apparently unfazed by the Luke Getsy experience ... his 13-year stint as Packers coach spanning the Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers eras. It's Stenavich who is the question mark.

With longtime quarterbacks coach Tom Clements retiring, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said Jordan Love's next step is "to evolve as a vocal leader."
