Wednesday was the official reveal of the Switch 2. Nintendo revealed that its next console will come out on June 5 and have a starting price of $450. In its hour-long Nintendo Direct, a lot of games were shown and I can safely say I'm excited.

More than a million people watched online as details of the long awaited successor to the hit console were announced.

The $450 price tag is for the Switch 2 console alone, but Nintendo said it will also offer a bundle with the Switch 2 and a copy of the new Mario Kart World game, a Switch 2 exclusive, for $500. There's some fine-print attached to pre-ordering directly from Nintendo.
