Sherrone Moore hinted on Friday that it 'looks good' that Rod Moore will return to the team next year and use his fifth year of eligibility. Defensive line coach Lou Esposito confirmed veteran Rayshaun Benny would also be back for a fifth year and anchor the defensive line.

There is more uncertainty on defense. Coordinator Wink Martindale had his unit clicking on all cylinders late in the season, and NFL teams took notice. He interviewed with the Atlanta Falcons and Indianapolis Colts this week and could have more meetings with NFL teams on the horizon, leaving his status with the Wolverines in flux.

After just one season at Michigan, former New York Giants defensive coordinator Wink Martindale could be on his way back to the NFL. On Tuesday, the 61-year-old Martindale met with the Atlanta Falcons and he will follow that up with a Thursday interview in Indianapolis.
