A thief who killed an Amazon delivery driver who was trying to stop his van from being stolen has been found guilty of murder. Claudiu-Carol Kondor, 42, died when Mark Ross drove the van into a parked car after hitting speeds of up to 60mph (96 km/h) on residential streets in Leeds last summer.

Claudiu-Carol Kondor died on August 20 last year after his Ford Transit Cargo van was stolen on a street in Leeds. The car was driven off at speeds of up to 60mph as Mr Kondor held on to the door

Unfortunately his actions did not prevent the defendant from driving away, with Mr Carol-Kondor hanging on to his van.'

A thief who purposely crashed a stolen Amazon delivery van to kill the owner who was clinging onto the door has been found guilty of murder.
