Texas softball is waiting to learn who it will play next at the College Softball World Series. The Longhorns (52-11) opened the tournament with a 3-0 win against Florida, thanks to first baseman Joley Mitchell's two home runs;

The Sooners haven't played in the loser's bracket since a 4-3 loss to James Madison back in 2021. After that loss, Oklahoma rattled off four wins in a row to reach the finals, where they beat Florida State to capture the first of their four consecutive national championships.
