Greece’s chief seismologist says that while earthquake frequency around Santorini has slightly decreased, the situation remains unpredictable for the coming weeks.

A 5.1-magnitude earthquake occurred on Monday night off the coast of Santorini, according to the automatic solution of the Geodynamic Institute. The tremor was felt in Attica and Crete. The earthquake struck at 22:15, with its epicenter located 13 kilometers south of Arkesini, Amorgos.
