Red Bull team boss Laurent Mekies has stated his Formula 1 team’s struggles couldn’t be fixed simply by copying elements of a more consistent Racing Bulls car.

A well-known analyst (and former F1 driver himself) was certain, saying off the record to GPblog in Hungary: if Max Verstappen had driven for Racing Bulls this season, the Italian team would have won Grands Prix.

F1 is entering the so-called “silly season,” the time when contract talks and rumors fill the vacuum with four weeks to wait until the next Grand Prix.
