Earlier this week, ESPN’s Matt Bowen published his list of best team fits for the top 50 NFL free agents this spring ( subscription required for link ). For Kansas City Chiefs inside linebacker Nick Bolton, Bowen listed the Denver Broncos as an ideal landing spot.
Nick Bolton fits Denver Broncos need as a versatile linebacker
While Bolton is a better cover linebacker, Barton is a run-stuffer. He earned a 79.9 run defense grade from PFF last year, 28th-best among ILBs. So, those two could possibly compliment each other well, if that’s the direction Denver wants to go.
