The Knicks invested a lot to provide Jalen Brunson with needed scoring help. But that supporting cast can’t, well, support if it never gets the ball.

Veteran point guard Jalen Brunson just added another accolade to his NBA resume. In a formal announcement on social media, Brunson was revealed as the winner of this year's Clutch Player of the Year award for his performance on the New York Knicks this season.

Brunson is in his third season with the Knicks. He averaged 26.0 points and 7.3 assists during the 2024-25 regular season while shooting 48.8% from the field, 38.3% from beyond the arc and 82.1% from the free-throw line.
