Braves now without entire Opening Day rotation as Holmes (elbow) hits IL
Injuries continue to hit the Braves’ rotation. The latest setback is right-hander Grant Holmes officially landing on the injured list with right elbow inflammation on Sunday, a day after he complained of elbow tightness during his start against the Rangers on Saturday.

The Atlanta Braves picked up right-hander Erick Fedde and cash from the St. Louis Cardinals in exchange for a player to be named later or cash, the clubs announced Sunday.The Braves made the trade for Fedde after transferring starter Grant Holmes to the 60-day injured list with an elbow injury.
