Borussia Dortmund have stepped up their pursuit of Renato Veiga once again as the club scramble to bring in cover for Niklas Sule before the summer transfer deadline. Sule hobbled out of Dortmund’s pre-season clash with Juventus on Sunday and the Germany centre-back is expected to be sidelined for around two months with a torn calf muscle.

Sule suffered the issue in Dortmund's 2-1 defeat to Juventus in a pre-season friendly on Sunday at the Westfalenstadion
