Michigan’s football program is reportedly losing a defensive analyst to the NFL. According to CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz, the Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to hire Kevin Wilkins as assistant linebackers coach. Wilkins joined the Wolverines’ staff ahead of the 2024 season and worked with the team’s outside linebackers.

The coach carousel continues for both college football and the NFL, and Michigan has now been impacted. According to a report from 247Sports' Matt Zenitz, Michigan is set to lose defensive assistant Kevin Wilkins, who is expected to be hired by the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars as an assistant linebackers coach.

Wilkins spent just one in Ann Arbor after previously serving as Wolverines defensive coordinator Wink Martindale's right hand guy in the NFL while he was calling defenses for the Ravens and Giants.
