The St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office is searching for Leilan Nelson, 21, in connection with the shooting in the 2200 block of Colonial Boulevard. Nelson is facing a charge of second-degree murder. Around 7 p.m. Thursday deputies responded to the home where they found the victim who had been shot. He was declared dead at the scene.
