I was excited to be among the first journalists to test the Nintendo Switch 2, but questions about its launch titles and price left me unsure about preordering.

As some of you might be aware, there's a new console on the horizon. In two short days, Nintendo is set to pull back the curtain a little more on Switch 2, officially graduating the hybrid consoles that currently sit in our hands to the title of 'Switch 1' (a name we're sure will sit well with us eventually).

As for the Nintendo Switch 2 dock, it comes with a built-in ethernet port just like the Switch OLED dock, whereas the original dock requires an optional adapter. The new dock also features a pair of USB-C ports, as opposed to just one, while retaining an HDMI port.
