Impeached South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol, who was detained after a Seoul court issued a detention warrant against him on Jan. 19, faces charges of insurrection and abuse of power. Judge Cha Eun-kyung of the Seoul West District Court cited “concern that the suspect may destroy evidence” for issuing the warrant.
