In the mist of tragedy, sometimes all it takes is a kind word. Well, for one Rutherford County family, it was several comments and posts that helped uplift them after four of their puppies died in a fire.

Rutherford County Fire & Rescue says crews responded to an outbuilding on fire on Barfield Crescent Road Sunday night. Fire crews immediately extinguished the fire upon arrival. When searching the building, they found four puppies inside did not survive. No other injuries were reported.
