According to Georgia GOP Chairman Josh McKoon, the Georgia Log Cabin Republicans, a gay and lesbian group, applied to participate in the Smyrna Pride 2025 festival but their application was denied.

Organizers of the Smyrna Pride Festival have reversed course, announcing they will allow Georgia Log Cabin Republicans as a vendor, four days after the Georgia GOP threatened legal action.
