NHL trade deadline, the Boston Bruins traded former captain Brad Marchand to the Florida Panthers. This was undoubtedly a franchise-altering move, as Marchand is a Bruins legend, and many expected him to spend his whole career with the Original Six club.

Ex-Bruins captain Brad Marchand scored his first goal since joining the Panthers on Thursday in Florida’s 4-1 win over the Red Wings. It was Marchand’s 22nd goal of the 2024-25 season. Marchand had two assists in his first seven games with the Panthers.

For the first time in his NHL career, Brad Marchand has scored a goal for someone other than the Boston Bruins.
