Windsor Jewelry first opened on Illinois Street before moving to its current spot on Meridian Street, near East Washington Street. It was owned by Sig Asher, who then passed it down to his son-in-law, Herman Logan. Greg and Lynn Bires then took over the business in 1998.

The demise of Windsor Jewelry in downtown Indianapolis was short-lived, thanks to two attorneys who purchased the 106-year-old downtown business.

Windsor Jewelry, a 106-year-old jewelry store in downtown Indianapolis, has been purchased by local business leaders Fernanda Beraldi and Ed Broeker, who plan to keep the store open at its current location and refresh its interior while preserving its legacy.
