Rep. Derrick Van Orden (R-Wisc.) this week became the first House Republican to file articles of impeachment against a federal judge who has blocked President Trump in his efforts to upend the federal government.

A Republican ally of Donald Trump has moved to impeach a federal judge who blocked a team set up by the president and spearheaded by billionaire Elon Musk from accessing U.S. Treasury Department systems responsible for trillions of dollars in payments.

Donald Trump has, in his first month, probably committed dozens of impeachable offenses,” Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) said in a recent interview.
