SACRAMENTO, Calif. ā Chanting āThis is what democracy looks like,ā thousands of protesters were in downtown Sacramento on Saturday as part of a nationwide day of demonstrations. The āNo Kingsā protests, staged in cities across the country, were organized in response to Saturday's military parade in Washington, D.C.
Iām really surprised and my heart is warmed by how many people are here,ā 18-year-old Lea Sribar said of the demonstration at the heart of a Republican-majority county.
