Physician Salvador Plasencia, who was charged in the death of Matthew Perry, pled guilty to distributing ketamine to the "Friends" actor.

Perry was found dead in his hot tub in 2023, which an examiner ruled was mostly the result of a ketamine overdose. The actor had reportedly been prescribed a legal amount of the drug to treat his depression,

Dr. Salvador Plasencia, one of the doctors charged in connection with Matthew Perry's 2023 death, has agreed to plead guilty to distributing ketamine to the actor. He will plead guilty to four counts of distribution of ketamine relating to Perry's death.
