HOUSTON — With less than 24 hours until the trade deadline, the Houston Astros have reportedly made a deal. According to MLB.com citing sources, the team traded for third baseman Ramón Urías from the Baltimore Orioles. In exchange, Houston is sending minor league pitcher Twine Palmore to Baltimore.

"It hit me at first - it was hard because of my teammates, but honestly, it motivated me to be better and I knew that here I was going to have an opportunity," Diaz said through Astros' interpreter Otto Loor.

According to a report from Bob Nightengale of USA Today, the Houston Astros are potentially looking to reacquire shortstop Carlos Correa before Thursday's trade deadline. Correa is currently playing with the Minnesota Twins and would be seen as a third base option for Houston.

Ramón Urías made 66 starts at third for Orioles this season and helps fill a need because of Isaac Paredes' hamstring injury.
