The New York Rangers didn't have to fend for themselves without their prized goaltender for long. Igor Shesterkin is set to return to the cage on Thursday against the New Jersey Devils at Madison Square Garden after missing four games to an upper-body injury per NHL insider Elliotte Friedman.

According to New York Post's Dan Martin, Laviolette has announced that starting goaltender Igor Shesterkin will return to the crease against the New Jersey Devils on Thursday night. The 29-year-old netminder hasn't played since Dec. 30 due to an upper-body injury.
