The Google Messages app now lets users send texts to themselves via RCS. The app previously restricted users to SMS when texting themselves. This means you can now send long text messages, high-quality photos/videos, and more to yourself.

Not that I’ve ever tried this before, but Google Messages has apparently (only now) added the ability to send yourself an RCS message and it may just be one of the greatest features ever. Self-texting in high quality is here!
