A mix of snow, sleet and freezing precipitation is leading to sloppy road conditions in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and beyond.

In addition to flight disruptions, Thursday's severe weather led to hundreds of power outages and some traffic delays.

Tom Thumb and Albertsons stores in North Texas opened as normal but will close early at 7 p.m. Thursday, according to a spokesperson. Also, stores are slated to open at 9 a.m., later than usual but will close at the normal 11 p.m. time.
