There are constants in life: the sun rises, grass is green and Chris Paul wears No. 3. All three things remain true after a thoughtful gesture from Bradley Beal, Paul's new teammate with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Chris Paul is returning to Los Angeles, the team announced Monday. The 40-year-old guard and 12-time All-Star has reportedly agreed to a one-year, $3.6 million deal with the LA Clippers. Paul previously played with LA for six seasons from 2011-17, leading them to the playoffs each year.

The veteran point guard wants to win and be close to his family in LA, and the team is in need of a ball handler, even though it will be mostly as a reserve.
