Severe storms moving into the Chicago area are bringing dangerous flash flood threats on Friday afternoon. There is a flash flood warning in effect for Cook and DuPage counties until 2:45 p.m. A ground stop has been issued at O'Hare and Midway airports as storms move into the area.

Chicago faced severe flooding, funnel clouds, and Con Friday, with more storms expected Saturday, capping a week of intense weather and power outages.

Friday’s heavy rain caused lots of flooding on the city’s Southwest Side and neighboring suburbs, and affected residents want answers.
