A Denton native has made it to the American Idol top three and is making a stop in her hometown before the finals. Breanna Nix, a 25-year-old stay-at-home mom, is returning to Denton on May 14 for her American Idol hometown visit.

A North Texas native made it to the top 3 in "American Idol" and her hometown is celebrating her accomplishments with a parade and concert.

After the remaining five competitors each gave their all with their renditions of hit Disney songs Monday night, America voted for the Top 3 singers and said goodbye to Thunderstorm Artis and Slater Nalley. The Top 3 will compete in the finale next week and head to their hometowns for a special visit.
