The Toronto Blue Jays put outfielder Daulton Varsho on the 10-day injured list Sunday because of a strained left hamstring, one day after the 2024 Gold Glove winner left a game against the Athletics after injuring his leg running the bases.

Blue Jays outfielder Daulton Varsho, who suffered a left hamstring injury while trying to leg out a triple on Saturday, was placed on the 10-day injured list.

The Blue Jays placed Varsho on the 10-day injured list on Sunday with a left hamstring strain. He left Saturday’s game against the Athletics after pulling up with a limp after hitting a third-inning double. Varsho has a grade one strain, manager John Schneider told reporters in Toronto on Sunday, and is considered week to week.
