Millions marched in cities across the U.S. on Saturday as part of the nationwide "No Kings" demonstrations, according to event organizers
No Kings” demonstrations marched in hundreds of cities on Saturday to protest what organizers describe as President Donald Trump’s authoritarian agenda, including recent immigration raids that have rattled communities across the country.
Protests large and small were set for Saturday throughout the Bay Area, from banner-hangings on overpasses, to major gatherings in San Jose’s St. James Park, and in Oakland’s Wilma
An estimated 10,000 people were in attendance at the “No Kings” rally that began in Pioneer Park and marched north through the downtown area, the Salt Lake City Police Department said. Gunfire was heard at around 8 p.m., with video posted online showing protesters fleeing in terror.

The mass protest was focused on the Trump administration's actions that protesters believe are authoritarian and blur the line of democracy.
It began with a moment of silence for a Minnesota lawmaker and her husband who were killed in what Gov. Tim Walz called a political assassination.
