The innovative underground library is part of the City of Sydney’s library network of 9 branches. The striking design includes a subterranean garden, amphitheatre and a 6-storey glass tower. The main library level has large open spaces, study desks, public use computers, dedicated children’s area and meeting rooms for hire. In the tower you’ll find a quiet reading space and a range of rooms available to hire including a music room with a baby grand piano and computer lab. The library shares the same location with the Green Square Customer Service Centre and is located next to Green Square Station. City of Sydney Library membership is free if you live in New South Wales.
