We visited in late March, it was too icy to go far down but we managed a short walk enough to enjoy the view of the mighty falls cascading over the top. We will return in the summer or autumn.Full review by WitchyYork

We had tried to visit here a couple times and it seems the entry area from the GPS is always closed and it looked like the entry sign was down. Is there a different way to get in there? My GPS may be misleading us.
We are coming to Mt Washington next month and want to visit some local state parks as well. My question is I had Knee surgery a few months back. Is the trail very difficult to the falls, or is it very steep. I am not suppose to do any heavy hiking until after my next surgery. Thank you.

if you can walk up step stairs you will be fine....my wife has a slipped disk and she was able to go up and down with very little discomfort. I would just stop a few times on the way back …
